PacifiCorp Soda Dam Spillway Gate Replacement
This design-build project was the replacement of 3 spillway gates at Soda Dam, Idaho. The work included the design, fabrication, and installation of 3 new gates. Due to limited access to the crest of the dam, Spindler used barges to float the gates and a crane near the dam crest in order to place the gates. The work also included placing scaffolding on both the upstream and downstream sides of the dam.
